Terms of use

Effective August 6, 2026. Short version: Vehicled is a free hobby service, run on a best-effort basis. Be decent, own what you upload, and don't abuse it. This page is written plainly and honestly — it wasn't drafted by a lawyer.

The service

• Vehicled is free and non-commercial, provided as-is and as-available. There is no uptime guarantee, no guarantee of permanent storage, and no warranty of any kind. Keep your own copies of anything you can't lose (CSV export exists for exactly that).
• The vehicle catalog and its data (years, generations, colours) are curated on a best-effort basis and may contain errors.
• Catalog images are AI-generated illustrations. They are labelled as such, are illustrative only, and may not accurately depict a specific model, generation, trim or colour.
• We may change, suspend or discontinue features — or the service — at any time. If the service ever winds down, we'll make a reasonable effort to give notice so you can export your data.

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you upload. By posting it you give us permission to store, process (resize, strip metadata, blur plates) and display it as the product requires — including publicly, if you make your garage public.
• You are responsible for what you upload. Only upload photos you have the right to share, and don't post other people's personal information (including a visible licence plate that isn't yours) without permission.
• Maker names and logos belong to their respective manufacturers and are used only to identify vehicles. Wikimedia stock photos keep their attribution.

Not allowed

Harassment, hate speech, or abusive content; impersonating people or organisations; illegal content; posting someone else's personal data; spam or deceptive profiles; scraping or bulk-downloading the site or its images; probing, overloading, or circumventing security or rate limits; and using the service to break any law.

Moderation and termination

• We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or the community guidelines — with or without notice for serious abuse.
• You can delete your account yourself at any time from your garage settings.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Vehicled and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from using (or being unable to use) the service, including data loss. The service is free; you use it at your own risk.
